This game has been designed to be used as revision and interventions. Depending on the focus the cards can be used in different ways (see following pages for details). Not all the cards need to be used. For example you might wish to revise set 3 so you would use the sound and word cards for that set and any alien words cards that use those and previous sounds. For intervention you may want to focus on sounds and words your students need more practice with. Ideally use with 2 – players. It can be used with a 1-3 or 1-6 dice depending on time and preference.

This pack contains A4 and A5 flashcards which when photocopied/printed following your photocopier/printer instructions will produce word lists on the reverse and a picture clue. Word lists taken from Letters and Sounds.

This pack contains spelling sheets for all the Tricky words from phase 2 to 5. They are similar to the look, cover, write, check but with a twist. Pupils get to practice the writing in different ways such as joining the dots, rainbow writing and colourful writing before covering and having a go.

There are four picture boards in total. Board 1 - ay,ou,ie,ea,oy Board 2 - ir,ue,aw,wh,ph Board 3 - ew,oe,au,ey,a-e Board 4 - e-e,i-e,o-e,u-e Each board has a ? section where there are a mixture of pictures from the sounds on the board. Board 4 has two ? where there are sounds missing in the word and the children have to work out which phase 5 sound is missing. When it lands on a sound, find that column on the game board. Spell the first picture from that column on your spelling grid. Continue rolling and spelling each picture. Created as I couldn't find a mat that had everything I wanted on one mat. This pack Phase 3/5 mats with sounds and pictures as well as lower and upper case letters. It also includes three different font versions: Sassoon Infant, CCW Writing and Dyslexie. The Sassoon Infant and CCW have two versions; one with the HFWs and then the Tricky Words and another where they are in alphabetical order, in coloured coded boxes with Tricky Words in bold. The Dyslexie version is slightly different and has a sound mat for Phase 3 and Phase 5 separate and a word mat for each phase including Phase 4 for the HFWs and Tricky Words which can be printed/photocopied on to the back of the sound mats.

These match the Phase 3 Picture and Sentence Matching that I also have for sale. I've tried to keep as much in black, white and grey to save on ink but some pictures were not clear unless in colour. Colour the words to make the sentence for the picture. Then have a go at writing it underneath.

This pack contains matching word and picture cards that cover uses the set 1 sounds. They cover words that use three, four and five sounds. Simply match the frog to the correct lily pad by reading the word. They can be used as a matching activity, memory type games, snap or use the picture cards as a writing activity.

This pack contains 6 sets of sound boards with matching car cards which have the sounds on them. Included in the pack are word boards which are sectioned into set 1-3 words, 1-4 words and 1-5 words. These also have matching car cards with the words on them. How to use: Either use the labelled car cards with the words or sounds for a matching activity or sound out the word or say the sound and players park their car in the correct bay. Alternative use the word boards and players park their car in the bay that rhymes with the word you say.

This is not editable as images need to be secure as per the terms of the clipart licences from TpT which are for commercial use. Has a page where you can click on the sound and it will take you to the section with an alien named after each sound You will need to click the alien will appear, click again and his speech bubble with name will appear and a final click reveals the sound buttons.

This include a random word generator and bingo cards. The word generator is stopped by pressing s and enter to continue. 30 boards has been included but some boards may be duplicated with words in a different order.

A PowerPoint presentation that can be used instead of flashcards. Sounds are completely random so will stop them guessing/knowing what sound will be next. Press s to stop and enter to continue. Great alternative to flashcards and stops pupils guessing which sound is coming next. UPDATED Now includes Sound bingo boards.

This 189 slide PowerPoint contains all the words from the Phase 5 Alternative Pronunciations word list from the Letters and Sounds document. Ideal to use instead of flashcards, enabling large amount pupils to see the words.
